Minutes of meeting held on 20th July  2022 at 7:00pm

1.       Apologies

2.       Minutes of  previous meeting

Resolved to accept minutes of June 2022 meeting

 

 

3.       Finance report

SR noting bank figures.

SR has done an on line application to get herself added to the bank account

SR had spoken to Nat West ad once she is on account will phone again to set up an additional deposit account at 0.4%

MI suggested waiting to see what interest rates do before proceeding

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.       AOB Financial Matters

BR has contacted the electrician again to chase invoice and completion certificate

5.       Shop Report

PB still to send  price list to BR for enlargement. GP offered to type up if PB forwarded it to him

BR  had laminated the chemicals names to make them more visible .

 GP and SR to move chemicals to higher shelves to comply with Health and Safety and Duty of Care

PB reported shop sales as expected

SR reported May and June shop takings and meat raffle takings.

SR to keep a rolling total for monthly reports

TC suggested reinstating Bottle raffle. £1 per: ticket and once £20 taken draw will take place for a bottle of one’s choice. BC to purchase bottles

Raffles to be kept separate with different coloured tickets

6.       Work party

The next work party will be 13th August 10.00am – 12.00 noon. 

Followed by a free BBQ for all those who help.

SR will purchase burgers etc once numbers are confirmed

7.       Report from plot letting committee

There are 15 on the waiting list

5/6 plots need clearing

Complaints from neighbours of 26B and 45B.

8.       Bonfire

The bonfire had unfortunately damaged a storage box. The tenant has been offered reimbursement of the cost of a new box

The bonfire site to be kept but a notice to say

NO TIPPING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

to be put up

9.       Chinnor pump update, items for insertion

MI will put date for work party out to all plot holders

Judging of plots should take place one 1st August

 

10.   AOB

KB Allotments have requested we buddy up to offer advice on how we work as a committee. Suggested date Sunday 7th August

SR to contact SODC to request a new lid for green bin

The rotavator requires a new belt. Approved for TC to purchase

The new bench is arriving 22/7/22 PG will remove plaque from old bench and attach to the new one

Complaints have been received regarding leaving the toilet in an unpleasant state. A reminder to whoever is on shop duty to check the toilet, replace toilet rolls and mop floor.
