About

Chinnor Allotment and Garden Association

Chinnor Allotments have provided an important community focus since being established in the 1840s.

Today this focus continues with renewed vigour: the Association exists for the benefit of all Chinnor residents who are interested in gardening and growing their own vegetables. You do not need to be an allotment holder to benefit. Becoming an Associate member for just £3 a year gives you access to the Sunday morning “shop” where you can buy all your gardening requirements, from seeds, to compost and fertilizers, all at very competitive prices. In addition, help and advice on planting techniques is always available from the resident allotment holders, many of whom have years of experience, demonstrating their prowess by frequent Category Wins at the annual Chinnor Flower Show and who will be only too pleased to share advice with you.

There are currently some 150 allotments: if you would like to grow fresh vegetables, but do not have a large enough garden, why not apply for your own plot.
