Extra Committee Meeting 3^rd February

Present Chris McGuire, Margaret Lambert, Jackie Gunn, Maureen Dyroff

In attendance Jeanette Hyland

1. Confirmation of Chris McGuire as interim Chair – The Committee ML, MD and JG voted unanimously that CM should be interim Chair.
2. Plans for reopening DC (shop) now to be called the Growing Hub (The Hub)

Date confirmed as Sunday 15^th February from10am to 12 noon and every Sunday thereafter. All Committee members to be present on the 15^th. All to bring refreshments including JH.

MD to make new name sign plus sign for outside the toilet door, to read ‘Check no one inside before locking door’.

JG to put request on Trash Nothing for cool bag for milk. CM to provide door mat.

Mark up on items sold in the Growing Hub, to be 20% on all costs of purchase including tax. This is to cover costs of running the Growing Hub e.g. electricity. Items will be cheaper than garden centres. This was a unanimous decision.

Thanks to Andrew Robinsons excellent article in Chinnor Pump there should be widespread knowledge of opening. A message has ben put on WhatsApp and an newsletter will be sent to all plot holders.

Shop rota 15/02 -all, 22/02 MD & JG, 1/03 MD & JH, 8/03 CM & ML, 15/03 JG & ML

A call to be put out for volunteers to help in the Hub.
