Shop |
The shop has been operating during lockdown for those plot holders who have placed online orders and collected them at agreed times via Pete G and Peter B on either on a Wednesday or Saturday. Regular Sunday opening is still not possible. Two orders were placed by Peter B most of which have been sold now. Currently there is no compost, an order has been put in but this may take awhile for delivery due to supplier being out of stock. There are some seeds left for sale but no further order will be made for these now until the New Year for the start of next season. There is a good stock of fertilizer and canes. The committee would like to say a big thank you to both Peters’ for operating the shop during lockdown. |

Plots |
Brian has been very helpful to Frans during the lockdown period and has been carrying out plot checks across the site. The committee wish to thank Brian for all his efforts. Four vacant plots have been let out recently. There are no current plot vacancies, however there may be 3 potential plots coming vacant shortly. There are currently 21 people on the waiting list. Frans wishes to thank John Higginson for mowing the orchard area and Tich for keeping up the rotavation of plots. The Scout plot located near the Scout hut is still not being cultivated by the Scouts so Frans will enquire if they still want to use it. He will report back to next meeting. |
