Dear Plot Holder
- Mid summer Centennial Barbecue is on 15th August. If you have reserved tickets but not yet paid, please come into the shop on Sunday to confirm your place and pay or contact us. We need to have final numbers by next Sunday. We would also like donations for the raffle.
- Attached is the agenda for the next Committee meeting on the 19th September. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will value your input especially in the run up to the AGM. There is no obligation to join the Committee.
- AGM if you have any ideas that you would like the membership to discuss at the AGM please let me have them in writing.
- As the drought continues and deepens we need to be very mindful of how much water we use. Whilst we are permitted to use a hose, under the exemption, this is if we cannot reasonably use a watering can. Using a watering can helps us monitor how much we give each plant. You can fill water butts, with a hose, on your plot to make life easier. It is better to water carefully now, rather than face a complete ban on the use of hosepipes.
- LOCKING the GATES – we are continually finding the gates unlocked. It is essential that everyone locks the gates behind them. Please carry a key at all times in case you get locked in. Food prices are rising and many people are struggling. Leaving the gates open is an invitation for people to come and help themselves from our plots.
- Many sites insist that the gates are kept locked at all times. This is something the Committee propose raising at the AGM for discussion by you all.

We will never share your information with anyone else, except for the NAS, (National Allotments Association), who hold your details for insurance purposes, and are only accessed in the case of an insurance claim. Your information will be removed from the database when you cease to be a plot holder.
